下肢缺血是研究血管再生和缺血性血管新生的通用实验模型,广泛应用于外周血管疾病、重度下肢缺血、糖尿病足、截肢水平、血管新生、缺血保护与耐受、缺血再灌注损伤等方面的研究与评价,同时也是下肢缺血动物模型制备中必要的评价手段。
激光多普勒成像可被用于无创评价大小鼠下肢的系统性血流灌注,同时也不需要追踪染料。这使我们可以将结扎限流的下肢血流与对照下肢进行比较。检测可在很多天内持续进行,因此可以评价由血管再生而产生的再灌注进程。对于促血管再生性治疗,血流将快速恢复到基线(100%),即与对照肢相同的水平。对于抑制血管再生性实验,血流将更慢地恢复到正常的基线水平。
